About Dawg Trax

Hi, I’m Jackie — and this is the story behind Dawg Trax.
What started as a dream to work with dogs turned into a full-blown mission to help them live better, healthier, more fulfilled lives.

About Me

Hi, I’m Jackie, founder of Dawg Trax, and a lifelong dog lover who believes every pup deserves to feel strong, confident, and deeply cared for.

For years, I’ve volunteered with local dog rescues working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, and personalities. I’ve helped the shy ones learn to trust again, the energetic ones channel their zoomies, and the overlooked ones find their forever homes. Along the way, I learned something simple but important:

A tired dog isn’t just a happy dog,
a fulfilled dog is a balanced dog.

That’s what inspired me to create a mobile dog gym. Not just exercise, but purposeful, structured, positive movement that supports:

Health & mobility

Weight management

Confidence building

Behavioral balance

And most of all… joy.

I bring professional-grade slat mills directly to your home, so your pup can run safely in a controlled environment, no matter the weather, no crowds, no overstimulation, no stress.

My mission is to make fitness accessible, safe, and fun for every dog; from high-drive athletes to couch-potato sweethearts who need a little extra motivation.

Whether your dog needs a confidence boost, extra exercise, rehabilitation support, or just a new way to have fun…

I’m here for them.
Because they’ve always been there for us.

Why I Built Dawg Trax

I’ve always known I was meant to work with dogs.

I wasn’t allowed to have one growing up — so as an adult, I overcompensated. At one point, we had 6 dogs living in our home together: a Great Dane, a senior pitbull, a special-needs Cane Corso, two wiener dogs, and a bull terrier mix.

When my husband told me about a mobile dog gym he saw in Vegas, I felt it in my bones:
“That’s it. That’s what I want to do when I grow up.”

Dawg Trax became my way out of the 9–5 grind — and back into the dog world where I belong.
