Rescue Was Always the Why.

It's Not Just a Business. It's a Promise.

I didn’t grow up with dogs.
I always wanted one — but it wasn’t allowed.

So now, as an adult?
Let’s just say… I’ve made up for lost time.

At one point, we had six dogs at home — seniors, special needs, Great Danes, tiny Dachshunds, and misunderstood breeds like my pitbull Zeus. They weren’t perfect. They were family.

I found my purpose in rescue — volunteering at Missouri Pitbull Rescue.
I saw the forgotten ones. The reactive ones. The ones that couldn’t go on walks.
And I made them a promise:

If I ever had the chance to do more, I would.

That’s what Dawg Trax is.
Not a brand.
A promise.

For every 10 sessions purchased we donate 1 run to a shelter dog.

This Was Never Just About Treadmills

It started with one dog, one rescue, and a lot of heart.

I wasn’t even allowed to have a dog growing up — so now I overcompensate. We’ve had six at a time. It’s who we are.

Dawg Trax wasn’t built to be trendy. It was built to solve a problem.
I was volunteering with local pit bull rescues — dogs who couldn’t be walked, didn’t belong in dog parks, and needed a way to burn energy and build confidence.

So we got creative. We bought a bus.
And we turned it into something dogs could call their own.

Dawg Trax now gives dogs a safe place to run — especially the ones who don’t always get that chance. And it gives me the chance to leave my 9–5 behind and give back full-time to the rescue world that changed everything for me.

“The real dream? To drive to shelters, give dogs a free run, and show the world they’re worth adopting.”

Giving Shelter Dogs More Than a Cage

Most shelter dogs don’t get walked.
They sit.
They spin.
They wait.

The Dawg Trax mobile gym gives them something different:

A chance to run and move their bodies

A quiet space without chaos

One-on-one attention they rarely get

Enrichment that builds confidence

A better shot at adoption

This is why I started this.
Not just for pets at home — but for the ones still waiting.

A New Rescue, A New Chapter

When Missouri Pitbull Rescue closed, a few of us knew we weren’t done.
So we started something new:

Made a Promise Rescue

We’re just getting started.
But the mission is the same:
Show up. Advocate. Keep the promise.
