Run Session Details

Not every dog can get the exercise they need on a walk around the block.

Half the year in KC it’s way too hot, and the other part? Freezing.
Some dogs are dog-reactive and can’t be walked in public.
Others just want to run and you can’t keep up with that pace.

Dawg Trax gives your pup a safe, controlled, one-on-one environment to run at their own speed, on their own terms.  No distractions. Just movement, confidence, and fun.

This isn’t just a workout, it’s enrichment.
It’s for their body and their mind.
And we bring it straight to your driveway

What’s Included in Each Session

Every Dawg Trax visit is a one-on-one workout tailored to your dog — whether they’re a high-drive athlete or a couch potato with big dreams.

Here’s what your dog gets with every session:

  • A 30-minute private mobile gym session

  • Climate-controlled environment — no weather worries

  • One-on-one guidance and encouragement

  • Time to sniff, explore, and ease into the slatmill

  • Enrichment through movement, praise, and engagement

  • Safety-first setup: enclosed space, no other dogs, no chaos

  • Full control of the pace — sprint or stroll, it’s up to them

  • Treats and praise to make it fun (but not food before the run!)

We don’t rush. We meet your dog where they’re at — nervous, excited, or somewhere in between.

What to Expect

Your first session? Here’s how it works.

We keep it simple, safe, and stress-free — for you and your dog.

Before the Run

  • Don’t feed your dog beforehand (prevents bloat and upset tummy)
  •  Let them potty before coming on the bus
  • Bring their favorite toy if they have one — optional, but helpful

During the Run

  • We’ll let them explore the space and get comfortable first
  • Treats, praise, and toys help ease them onto the slatmill
  • Some dogs walk right away — most need a few warm-up tries
  • We go at their pace — there’s no rush, no pressure
  • You’re welcome to watch, but some dogs focus better solo

After the Run

  • Let them cool down before offering water
  • Expect them to be tired, happy, and a little proud of themselves
  • Want to book again? Just call, text, or click
